February 12, 2010

                               Dear Loving Friends,

Greetings with the love of Jesus! January- the first month of the new year 2010 quickly came and left,  next is February,
known as the “LOVER’S Month”- Valentine. Jesus is our true Valentine. He was born to freely give His life a ransom for all.
God’s greatest expression of His love to us, “This is how we know what love is, Jesus Christ laid down His life for us, and we
ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.” I Jn.3:16

Life in 2009 especially Metro Manila and Luzon was grim, but the many tragedies opened the door for “LOVE” to shine the
brightest. Many got involved in giving and helping- waded deep, dirty waters- many sleepless nights to be on the “GO” and
few died while on the rescue work. I saw babies in big basins floated to a safe shore. Albay 2006, where our Badian School
is located, two villages near Mt. Mayon- Bicol Region- houses with people in them were buried alive- many in Albay are still
recovering- however they too brought their offerings to help Metro Manila- Amazing Love! II Cor.8:4-5- “Paul said, “brothers
we want you to know about the grace that God has given the Macedonian Churches. Out of the most severe trial, their over
flowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity. For I testify that they gave as much as they were able
and even beyond their ability. Entirely on their own, they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service
to the saints—they gave themselves first to the Lord and then to us in keeping with God’s will.”

We are all aware about the present global economic crises- you too are in some kind of economic problem but many of you in
spite of such hard times, you lovingly helped Grace Christian Mission through your fervent prayers and sacrificial giving. Here is a brief Financial
