Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Lord,
How are you? Christmas is here again! Celebrate with us for the few of God’s many blessings in
2007- the bitter cry of many countries and people is the “Global Economic Crises”- we praise
God we went fine and poised to meet the challenges of 2009 it will bring to us: March 31 as
mentioned in our Thank You letters about the 412 arm chairs donated by Jubilee Christian
Academy (J.C.A) added to the 140arm chairs we have, a big boost towards the qualification of
our schools to received subsidy from (FAPE) Fund Assistance for Private Education- we are
required to measure up to the set standards of the Department of Education inspected our
facilities, interviewed teachers and students. Classroom settings were greatly improved
because we have decent bench for each child. Our desire was to share some of the chair to
Badian, but transporting them was expensive- we agreed to buy in Albay- shop made arm chairs
and two carpenters made some wooden arm chair lumber in Badian is a lot cheaper.
GCM’s good friend Dr. and Mrs. Donald and Win Byker and their Ossipee First Congregational Church are helping
GCM in many ways resulting to the great progress of the Mission Work. Win and Don allowed Roberto to Drive their
Car in 2006. We visited Mrs. Ruth Schauffle now 99- our generous and faithful helper in Quarryville, Pa. this visit
refreshed our relationship and, she got the chance to meet Roberto whom she had prayed for faithfully.
In mid November ‘08 she wrote me- “a visitor gave a “potted, prayer pansy” Ruth and the others in the Retirement
Home were told to select someone to pray for each time he/she Waters the plant and that she chose me and GCM- as
her prayer pansy. What a blessing! GCM- work and I need more prayers. I know many of you are praying for us. Please
join the prayer band for GCM. James 5:16

GCM received the approval on our application for a permit to operate our Complete Elementary School, school year
2008-09 but we lacked one classroom- Mr. Richard Johnston of Meadville, Pa. sent to GCM- money in memory of his
beloved wife- this came in Aug.08- so with the memorial gift we were able to finish one classroom- grade V pupils
moved in immediately.
Febias College of Bible students also visited GCM- Aug. 30-31 in search of the recipient of their 2008 Christmas for
Christ Project- 5 different needy Institutions were presented in their special Chapel Service of the 5- GCM-Elementary
School was chosen with the prayer in our hearts that the 2 unfinished classrooms of our Elementary building will be
finished. When our schools were inspected on November 11/08 by 3 Supervisors- they commented on the unfinished
building- I told them Febias College of Bible students and Faculty are raising funds for their Christmas for Christ Project
and will give this to GCM Elementary building the fund to get it finished.
The big threat of many Institutions in the coming year is the Global Economic Crises- Our eyes are fixed on the Lord to
carry GCM- work till Jesus comes- Heb. 13:5 “I will never leave you nor forsake you” “Call unto me and I will answer
thee and show thee great and mighty things which thou knowest not” Jer.33:3
Prayer Request:
1. The finishing of our Elementary building- 6 classrooms- 4 are done 2 more to enclose, roof and cement floor 3
rooms. That we can secure certificate of occupancy for the Elementary building necessary for it to be awarded with
Certificate of recognition. The high schools have Certificate of Recognition.
2. Finishing of our Missional Business building 7x10 meters “concrete 2nd floor”–money used was only borrowed-
$2,000.00 that this will be paid and the 2nd floor to be done- about $5,000.00 and the finishing of the 1st floor to be
used as our workshop to make Virgin Coconut Oil. Our Coconut trees had recovered from the 2006 bad typhoons and
are now bearing.
3. The needs of the entire Mission work to be met in spite of the Global Economic Crises.
4. Good physical and Spiritual health. Staff members who had surgeries 4 of them are recovering fast-thank you for
your prayers -
The monies you kept sending helped us to meet the needs in the home – food!
A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! - gratefully yours,
Arsenia & GCM family
